How to Clean the Inside of an Air Fryer

Step 1: Unplug the Air Fryer and Remove the Basket

Before you begin, make sure you unplug the air fryer and remove the basket. If the basket has cooled down, you can wash it in warm, soapy water. If it is still hot, you may want to wait a few minutes before you handle it.

Step 2: Clean the Outside of the Air Fryer

Once the basket is removed, you can begin cleaning the outside of the air fryer. You can use a damp cloth with some mild soap to wipe away any dirt or grime. Make sure you don’t use any abrasive materials or harsh cleaners as these may damage the surface.

Step 3: Clean the Inside of the Air Fryer

You can use a damp cloth to wipe away any debris from the inside of the air fryer. If there are any stuck-on bits of food or grease, you can use a soft-bristled brush to remove them. Be careful not to scratch the surface of the air fryer. Once you have wiped away all the debris, you can use a damp cloth with some mild soap to clean the inside of the air fryer.

Step 4: Dry the Air Fryer

Once the air fryer is clean, you should dry it thoroughly. You can use a clean, dry cloth to wipe away any excess water. Make sure to dry the inside and outside of the air fryer to prevent any water from collecting and causing damage.

Step 5: Reassemble and Plug in the Air Fryer

Once the air fryer is completely dry, you can reassemble it and plug it back in. Make sure all the components are securely in place and that the air fryer is properly plugged in. You can now use the air fryer as normal.
