How to Clean an Electric George Foreman Indoor Outdoor Grill
Getting Ready to Clean
Cleaning an electric George Foreman Indoor Outdoor Grill is an easy process. Before you begin, make sure your grill is unplugged and cooled off. Then, gather the items you will need to complete the job. These items include a soft brush, warm soapy water, a clean cloth and a paper towel.
Cleaning the Grilling Plates
Begin by removing the grilling plates from the George Foreman Grill. Place the plates into a sink that is filled with warm soapy water. Let them soak for a few minutes. After a few minutes, take a soft brush and gently scrub the plates clean. Use the cloth to remove any residue or food particles. Rinse the plates and dry them off with the paper towel.
Cleaning the Exterior
Once the grilling plates are clean, move on to the exterior of the grill. Take a damp cloth and wipe down the exterior of the grill. Make sure to remove any residue or food particles that may be on the surface. Dry the exterior off with a dry cloth.
Cleaning the Grease Tray
The George Foreman Grill also has a removable grease tray. This needs to be cleaned as well. Remove the tray from the grill and place it in the sink. Fill the sink with warm soapy water and let the tray soak for a few minutes. After a few minutes, take a soft brush and scrub the tray clean. Rinse the tray and dry it off with a paper towel.
Putting it All Back Together
After all the parts of the grill have been cleaned, it’s time to put it all back together. Place the grilling plates back into the George Foreman Grill and make sure they are secure. Put the grease tray back into its spot as well. Finally, plug the grill back in and you’re ready to go.
