How to Clean a Chefman Air Fryer
What You Need
Cleaning an air fryer isn’t a difficult task, but it does require the right materials. Before starting, make sure you have the following supplies on hand:
- A soft damp cloth
- A mild all-purpose cleaner
- A non-abrasive scrubber
- White vinegar
Cleaning the Basket and Tray
Cleaning the air fryer’s basket and tray is the easiest part of the job. To begin, remove the basket and tray from the fryer. Then, rinse them thoroughly with warm water and a mild all-purpose cleaner. For tougher grease and grime, use a non-abrasive scrubber. After cleaning, dry the basket and the tray with a soft cloth.
Cleaning the Exterior
The exterior of the air fryer is a bit more delicate, so use a soft cloth and a mild all-purpose cleaner. Do not use abrasive materials, such as steel wool, as they can scratch the surface. Once the surface is clean, dry it with a soft cloth.
Cleaning the Interior
The interior of the air fryer should be cleaned with a damp cloth and white vinegar. Wipe the interior with the cloth and vinegar to remove any residue or buildup. Do not use any other cleaners on the interior or use a scrubber as it could damage the fryer.
Cleaning the Heating Element
The heating element should be cleaned with a soft cloth and a mild all-purpose cleaner. Do not use abrasive materials, such as steel wool, as they can scratch the surface. Once the surface is clean, dry it with a soft cloth. After cleaning, make sure to unplug the air fryer before replacing the heating element.
