How to Cook Country Style Pork Ribs in Air Fryer

What You Need

To make delicious country style pork ribs in an air fryer, you will need the following ingredients: 2 pounds of country style pork ribs, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of your favorite BBQ sauce, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika.

Instructions

Step 1: Preparing the Ribs

Start by trimming any excess fat off the ribs. Once the fat is trimmed, pat the ribs dry with paper towels. Place the ribs in a large bowl and coat them with the olive oil. Then, mix together the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a small bowl. Once combined, pour the mixture over the ribs and toss to coat evenly.

Step 2: Cooking the Ribs

Place the ribs in the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 350°F. Cook the ribs for 10 minutes, then flip them over and cook for an additional 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, you can check the internal temperature of the ribs with a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should be at least 145°F for the ribs to be cooked through.

Step 3: Finishing the Ribs

Once the ribs are cooked through, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve the ribs with your favorite sides and enjoy!

Tips

For extra flavor, brush the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce before serving. You can also add your favorite seasonings to the ribs before cooking to give them an extra kick. If you don’t have a meat thermometer, you can check the ribs by pressing down on them with a fork. If they are tender and easily pierced, they should be done.
