How to Cook Ribs in the Air Fryer
Step 1: Preparing the Ribs
The first step to making your delicious ribs in the air fryer is to prepare them. Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs. This will ensure that the ribs are cooked evenly and the flavors penetrate the meat. Then, season the ribs generously by rubbing the seasoning onto both sides. Make sure to get the seasoning into all the nooks and crannies.
Step 2: Air Frying the Ribs
Once the ribs have been prepared and seasoned, it’s time to air fry them. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the ribs in the air fryer and cook for 25 minutes. Make sure to flip the ribs halfway through the cooking time. When the ribs are done, the internal temperature should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 3: Finishing the Ribs
Once the ribs have been cooked in the air fryer, it’s time to finish them. Place the ribs on a baking sheet and brush them with your favorite barbecue sauce. Put the baking sheet in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 10 minutes. This will allow the sauce to caramelize and create a delicious crust on the ribs.
Step 4: Enjoy Your Ribs
After baking the ribs in the oven, it’s time to enjoy them. Serve the ribs with your favorite sides such as coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, or baked beans. The ribs will be tender and juicy and your family will love them.
If you want extra crispiness on your ribs, brush them with a little bit of oil before air frying them. This will give them a nice crunchy texture.
